Story in a Nutshell
The plot revolves around Special force officers and their love-life. There is a beautiful juxtaposition of areas of interests of the main leads and how they resolve it and do they get together to live happily ever after is the storyline of this drama. The drama has been planned with care to provide the most entertainment value for the viewers. As fictionalized life history of army officers and their challenges has been setup against doctors whose profession relies on saving life. It is a happy mix and match of moral and ethical dilemma which creates a sense of moral unrest and deliberate choice-making. How the character face it and accept each other and the rocky path of lovers’ emotional affairs are the mainstay of the series.
My Likes and Dislikes
As usual I do not have any dislikes. But there were few areas where I felt the poetic license of dramatization had been used which makes the series almost real but not there. I am sure the army rules are much more stringent and with high disciplinary punishments. There are a lot of loops through which a soldier must jump around to do his or her duty as prescribed in the rule books. Did the series make you feel ‘yes this could have happened,’ I would say ‘yes!” It did feel like it happened in the series for real and you would believe it.
I liked the main leads a lot and all the actors have done a great job in convincing and making it a successful drama to watch and enjoy. The story flows smoothly while making maximum use of human emotion to get the best reaction of the casts. It also brings out the finer points of romance that are unmistakable to find between the two pairs. So, you kind of root for the pairs. You would be fascinated with the gentlemanly manners which are clubbed with the dare of breaking rules within permissible levels interesting. They make great pointer for watching the plot progress with rare momentum of ease. The challenges of taking decision can be found in all the professions. When the decision is taken there are side-effects to it. There is a sense of nobility for taking responsibility for the decision and it is beautifully showcased as the character’s ethical strength. Watch out for this specific aspect which is done well.
I always had a soft spot for men in uniform either it was guarding the frontline or doctor on the frontline. I believe that the professional ethics make human much more than their ordinary self. The profession of army and medicine involves people who are going to give their all to protect lives. But the difference is one of them take life rather brutally while the other protects it to live on. This division of vision is a nice foreplay to the main characters’ romance. The heroine’s question of will she know her lover fully or not is moot point. This emotional disparity is beautifully brought out and you are sure to enjoy that emotion tug of war.
Definite thumbs up for multiple watch, if you do not mind watching action scenes involving blood. But for most part it is not so loud but there is blood show and firing, so I preferred to see it just once. Visual of violence is a little hard for me to watch but this drama has it very mild but still it is violence. But overall, it was a beautiful and sensitive drama.
